The manual has been developed to assist Returning Officers who are planning an upcoming Municipal election, by-election, or vote on a question or bylaw in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act (LAEA) and other relevant regulations and legislation.
MACA’s Mike Drake and Wanda Norwegian lead this 90-minute webinar intended for returning officers in NWT Hamlets to prepare them for the upcoming election. It is our hope that participants will become familiar with the Returning Officer’s Handbook and learn what it takes to run a successful election in their community.
