Call for Letters of Interest

The Department of Municipal and Community Affairs (MACA) is inviting letters of interest from residents of the Northwest Territories (NWT) who are interested in serving on the Assessment Appeal Tribunal of the NWT.

Assessment Appeal Tribunal members are appointed under the Property Assessment and Taxation Act. Members are responsible for hearing appeals from property owners related to their property assessments. The term of appointment to the Tribunal is for five (5) years.

All travel, accommodation, meal expenses, and honoraria are paid for members attending hearings following rates established by the Government of the Northwest Territories.

Interested parties should submit a letter of interest along with a summary of relevant experience by October 18, 2024.
