GNWT Invites Nominations for Fire Service Merit Awards
YELLOWKNIFE (August 23, 2010) –The Department of Municipal and Community Affairs (MACA) is seeking nominations for the NWT Fire Service Merit Awards. These awards honour and recognize individuals and community fire departments for their significant contributions to fire safety and fire service in communities.
“Local fire fighters throughout the NWT create vibrant, safe communities for all residents,” said Robert C. McLeod, Minister of MACA. “These awards are a way to honour and acknowledge their outstanding dedication.”
