How to use this sheet
- Pick the year or the date in which the 3rd Monday in October falls.
- Use the same column to obtain deadlines for important election events
- NOTE: A required action which falls on a statutory holiday reverts to the first available date after. 1st Monday in September and Thanksgiving
* Where the terms of office for councillors are staggered.

- Pick date of 2nd Monday in December of election year or pick the year of election.
- Read down the column to obtain deadlines for important election deadlines.
- Note:A required action which falls on a statutory holiday reverts to the first available date after (ie. Nov 11th & Christmas).
- Swearing In of Council Members - after the administrative recount and prior to the term of office.
* Councillors who run for Mayor, whose terms do NOT expire must resign by this date
