Integrated Community Sustainability Planning
Planning, setting priorities, allocating resources to achieve those priorities and marking achievements is essential if you want to make best use of your resources and make meaningful progress as a Council for your community.
Under the Gas Tax Agreement, communities are required to complete a Capital Investment Plan by March 31, 2007 and an Integrated Community Sustainability Plan by March 2010.
MACA is working to develop a template for the ICSP which will include a governance plan (strategic plan), a capital investment plan, a community energy plan, and a community human resources plan.
