Youth Development
MACA promotes youth initiatives within the Government of the NWT and with youth groups, community governments, Aboriginal organizations, and the public, and is the first point of contact for youth issues raised to the GNWT. The Department provides support by:
- Assisting NWT communities to provide local youth programs and services.
- Working with NWT youth groups to deliver coordinated regional and territories programs and services
- Working with other governments and agencies to bring the benefits of national and other programs to the NWT.
