Fire Service Merit Awards
Every year, during Fire Prevention Week (the week containing October 9th), the Minister of Municipal and Community Affairs announces the recipients of the Fire Service Merit Awards.
Community fire fighters and fire departments play an essential role in protecting NWT residents and communities. If you know of a fire fighter or fire department that deserves special recognition, please submit a nomination to MACA. For more information, please read the Program Guidelines.
