Fire Inspections
The Office of the Fire Marshal may perform fire inspections in structures in the Northwest Territories from time to time. Assistant Fire Marshals perform these inspections as part of their daily duties. In many cases the local Fire Chief will attend as well in their capacity as Local Assistant to the Fire Marshal.
Many inspections are performed on a regular schedule, such as schools, day cares and others as the need is established. To arrange for a fire inspection of your building, or to talk with someone about fire safety matters, contact the Assistant Fire Marshal in your region.
