The Government of the Northwest Territories, Office of the Fire Marshal has a new 24-hour Emergency contact number. Now, when calling the Office of the Fire Marshal you will speak with a call taker instead of leaving a message on a paging system. Please use this number if you are unable to reach an Assistant or the Fire Marshal at the office numbers listed below.
In addition to requesting assistance from the Office remember that the Fire Prevention Act requires that suspicious fires be reported IMMEDIATELY to the Fire Marshal.
